Vintage Rain Crow And Positive Force Present "Fugazi Soul Side Verbal Assault" Wilson Center DC Show Flyer

Fugazi was a band from Washington, DC. They played their first show in 1987 and released their debut EP, 7 Songs, the following year. The band was made up of members of many integral DC bands, such as Minor Threat and Rites Of Spring, and advanced the original ideology. So of course all of their records were released on Dischord Records, the label founded by guitarist and singer Ian MacKaye to document the punk scene in DC, but they also handled all aspects of the band themselves. During their time together, Fugazi released seven full lengths and toured extensively. They were known throughout the worldwide underground for their cheap door prices, support for various causes, and lack of set lists, but the most important thing was that they were an amazing live band. This original Fugazi flyer, with imperfections and foxing originally taped to a wall, is from a benefit show for the Harriett Tubman Shelter For Homeless Women on December 29, 1988 at the WIlson Center with Soul Side and Verbal Assault.
