Robert Smith and company crafted a batch of songs that were undeniable in their catchiness, yet they still maintained that touch of tortured sadness that they were known for. The album went to #6 in the UK, #35 in the States, and sold millions of copies worldwide thanks to hit songs on the record like "Just Like Heaven" and "Why Can't I Be You?"
